Privacy Policy
Why hello my friends, I am pretty sure you’re aware of the recent change in law and the introduction of the GDPR. To cut a very long story short here at Formula One Vault we have to be complaint in handling personal and identifiable data you provide us.

What data do we collect?
When you make contact you will fill out a form, this includes your name and email address. It is necessary you provide this information, otherwise we wouldn’t be able to get back in touch with you. This would make it look like we were ignoring you and we don’t want anybody to think they are being ignored.

Commenting on posts.
Pretty much all of posts on this website can be commented on. I must make you aware that your comments are very much in the public eye. They are visible to every man and even his pet hamster. So please, please don’t post sensitive and personal information there. It will ask for your email address but this is NOT made public, I repeat the provided email address will not be made public.

Serious Stuff
Whilst I’ve had a little joke above it is quite a serious deal. If you have questions about how we handle your personal data please visit the contact page and please contact us. You are also able to request that you see the data we hold on you. So if you wish to be given this then please contact us and we will provide the necessary literature in an easy to read and understand format.

How we use your data
The reality of it is we respect your privacy. We may sometimes send you email in relation to a comment if we wish to use said comment in a future publication but that’s about it. You don’t need to worry about getting newsletters from us either, we are all extremely busy people and we don’t have the time to mess about producing weekly newsletter that will probably get caught by the spam flitter anyway.

Going once, Going Twice
Getting unsolicited emails, we aren’t responsible as we never sell your data to anybody.

In Summary
New EU regulations require us to do stuff that’s fairly within the realms of normality really. All you need to know is that we are a lovely bunch of people who won’t piss about with your data.
